
Job summary
Support the Operations Manager in the effective day-to-day running of diagnostic healthcare services, ensuring high standards of service delivery and patient satisfaction. Maintain operational and compliance records, including mandatory training, equipment servicing, quality assurance testing, and daily compliance checks. Assist with workforce administration, including rota management, annual leave planning, onboarding, appraisals, return-to-work processes, and other HR activities. Monitor service performance data, prepare reports, and support KPI tracking, payroll summaries, and operational reporting requirements. Manage and update service information, including prison activity data, while providing accurate operational insights and recommendations. Support the investigation and resolution of incidents, complaints, patient feedback, and service issues to drive continuous improvement. Assist with stock, equipment, and purchasing activities, ensuring services operate within agreed budgets. Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting collaboration and service objectives. Contribute to service development projects, audits, compliance initiatives, and the implementation of new service models and operational improvements.
Main duties of the job
As an Operations Support professional, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of high-quality diagnostic healthcare services within the prisons sector. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will help ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, service performance, and excellent patient outcomes. The role provides broad operational support across workforce coordination, reporting, stakeholder engagement, compliance, finance, and service improvement initiatives, contributing to the continued growth and success of the service.
