Priory Hospital East Midlands are recruiting an Occupational Therapist on our Acute and PICU ward.£24,999 - £30,432 Depending on ExperiencePart Time – 30 HoursPriory Hospital East Midlands has an opportunity for a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to join our team. Priory Hospital East Midlands, located between Nottingham and Mansfield, is a specialist acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) service for adult females. It is accessible by public transport, with a local train station nearby and a bus stop just outside the hospital providing links to Annesley, Hucknall and Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
What you'll be doing
- Manages and co-ordinates the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services ensuring treatments, activities and interventions are delivered through effective application and communication.
- Receives and responds promptly to referrals undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis. Maintains accurate and timely records detailing each patient’s rehabilitation / progress.
- Ensures the effective and efficient management of more junior staff.
