NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the North East Inpatient Service, based at Stobhill Hospital Mental Health Campus. You will work within the Inpatient Occupational Therapy Mental Health Team. You will be responsible for providing evidence based occupational therapy assessments and interventions, working closely with the multidisciplinary team. You will work with patients with a variety of mental health conditions who have been admitted to the wards within Stobhill Mental Health Campus. You will receive supervision from a Band 6 Occupational Therapist.

You must hold a BSc in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) with current HCPC registration as an occupational therapist. It would be desirable to have experience working in mental health. I would encourage and welcome you to contact the service to learn more about this job.
