The Occupational Health Department of Nottingham University Hospitals are looking to recruit a suitably experience registered nurse with current UK NMC registration to join our established nursing team.
Main duties of the job
Key elements of the role;
Fitness for work assessments.
Work place Immunity Assessments.
Vaccination & Serology clinics.
Management of sharps and contamination incidents.
Health Surveillance.
Support the promotion of workplace health initiatives.
Participate in department clinical audit and service development work.
We are a paper light department so excellent IT skills are a must and you will also need to be comfortable communicating with clients both face to face but also virtually e.g. telephone and emails.
You will work from our departments based on the Queen’s Medical Centre and City Hospital Campus but you should be be willing to travel to cover occasional clinics at external locations.
While Occupational health experience would be an advantage we can provide you with the training required.
