We are looking for an experienced, passionate sonographer to lead our Obstetric Ultrasound service across Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. Are you an experienced sonographer with an interest in Obstetric Ultrasound? Do you have advanced obstetric ultrasound knowledge and skills and are ready to to take the lead within this area of ultrasound? If so, we are keen for you to join the Ultrasound team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG).
This is an exciting opportunity to take on the role of Obstetric Sonographer Cross Site Lead and work within the Humber Health Partnership (HHP), delivering obstetric ultrasound services, training and education. Primarily this roll includes cross-site working over the NLAG sites, but there is an expectation to work closely with colleagues at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) with whom we are in partnership.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for leading the Screening Support Service (SSS) across NLAG. You will oversee the ultrasound screening processes, ensuring quality assurance and supporting the fetal anomaly screening programs. Alongside this you will have a blend of clinical and managerial responsibilities, being responsible for things like: service improvements, policy development, team management, audit, training and development within the sphere of obstetric ultrasound.
Working across-site you would be responsible for developing, delivering and enhancing the Obstetric Ultrasound Service.
