We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Band 3 Nursing Support Worker to join our dynamic paediatric team, providing high-quality care to babies, children, and young people.
Working under the supervision of registered nurses, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. This includes assisting with clinical duties, supporting families, and contributing to a nurturing environment that promotes the wellbeing and dignity of every child.

This is a part-time post, 34.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
Works as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering care to babies, children or young people with support and supervision provided by a registered health care professional.
- Undertakes personal care activities and clinical care duties with minimal support and supervision as delegated by a registered healthcare professional in accordance with the HEIW All Wales Guidelines for Delegation
- Ensures the registered healthcare professional is regularly updated on the patients/client’s condition and progress
- Promotes and maintains a healthy, safe and secure environment for children, young people, and their families
- Ensures the working environment is safe and hygienic following infection prevention and control policies and processes
- Contributes to the teaching and supervision of students and junior staff
- Delivers role in accordance with Health Board/Trust Values and Code of Conduct for HCSW’s in Wales
