Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist registered Nurses in the on-going assessment, planning, management, and evaluation of care.
  • Support individuals with all aspects of care including providing person centre care and promoting health and independence through awareness raising and care navigation to other professional as appropriate.
  • Performing and recording clinical observations including blood pressure, temperature, respirations, pulse and other competencies are agreed. As well as undertake clinical tasks including venipuncture, ECGs etc.
  • Recognise issues relating to safeguarding vulnerable children and adults and report ant problems or raise concerns to the appropriate registered care professionals.

  • Must have basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email.
  • Ability to use own judgement and be aware of professional boundaries they are working to.
