This role is supported under Agenda for Change Annex 20 provisions. You will start in a Band 2 Nursing Assistant role, and will be supported to undertake a 12 month competency assessment that will facilitate you moving into a Band 3 Nursing Assistant role without the requirement to undertake a further selection process.

Main duties of the job
We have a huge geographical area and have a range of hospital settings that you can work in to expand your knowledge of healthcare. We work a 24/7 rota pattern so can offer flexibility to all of our staff.
Being a Healthcare Support Worker is a wonderful role – we know this because our teams tell us all the time. You will play a vital role in the care of our patients, helping with the day to day needs of our patients through the provision of help with personal care, bathing/showering, toileting, mealtimes and supporting them with their mobility as necessary.
You will also perform observations etc and confidently update our electronic patient records accurately to ensure all the information about our patients is captured for our clinical colleagues to use. Accuracy of information and teamwork are essential parts of the role.
