We are looking to recruit Nursery Nurses to become part of the team at the Leicester Royal Infirmary or the Leicester General Hospital.
This is a responsible and rewarding role with a direct impact on families’ lives. It also offers an ideal entry route to many NHS careers for people with commitment and enthusiasm rather than just academic qualifications.
With joining maternity services, you will become part of a talented, passionate team of people, committed to providing the best care to women, babies and families. You will also enjoy one of the most competitive and flexible benefits packages offered by any employer in the UK (see attached employer benefits leaflet).
Part time posts are available on an internal rotation, this means a mixture of days, nights and weekend shifts, to meet the needs of the service. The standardised hours of work for the hospital are as follows: Long days 07:00-19:30 and Nights 19:00-07:30
Your start date will be in line with the next induction programme unless you have a Care Certificate.
Interview day will include meeting the education team to gather more information on opportunities for career progression. Nursery Nurses will also be available to give further insight into the role, along with an opportunity for a tour of the unit.
