An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nurse or Audiologist to join the Advanced Primary Care Service for Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) service three days per week.
This role can be based at either Oswestry Health Centre or Marysville Medical Practice, Shrewsbury with various clinic locations around Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin necessitating an ability to travel for this post.
Previous training and experience of audiology and micro-suction ear care, experience of clinical leadership would be an advantage.
NOTE: There is currently no professional qualification in the speciality for nursing – however the post holder will be expected to complete such a course if one becomes available.
Main duties of the job
The applicant will utilise their advanced ENT skills to offer assessment, treatment and care planning for our ENT patients alongside an Associate Practitioner and GP with Extended Role (GPwER).
You will provide audiology, micro suction ear care and offer extended role assessment and patient management for the service liaising with the Team Lead, and GPwER partners along with management and development of the APCS HCA.
