Nurse Specialist - Diabetes

Job summary

Job Summary Leeds Teaching Hospitals are looking to recruit a Band 6 Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join the multidisciplinary team. The service delivers highly specialist diabetes care to patients with Type 1 diabetes, complex Type 2 diabetes and provides in-patient care. We cover the diabetes centre at St Jamess Hospital and in-patients at St James University Hospital, Leeds General Infirmary and Chapel Allerton Hospital. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and committed to the provision of excellence in diabetes care and who wants to further develop their knowledge and skills in this field.

Main duties of the job

Support will be offered for professional development providing a period of preceptorship and clinical supervision. We provide a seven day service and the successful applicant would be required to be adaptable to service needs.
