Staff Nurse –Band 5

Band 5 staff nurse Part time post – 33.75 hours

Location – Ward 108 ECC – Renal Medicine

We are recruiting for Band 5 Staff Nurses in acute Renal Medicine –ward 108 ECC.

The post involves day and night rotation on a 12 hour shift pattern.

This busy unit has 20 beds ( with capacity for 4 extra spaces) and cares for renal patients admitted both electively and as emergency admissions.

We liaise with the renal dialysis unit on ward 404/405 as well as accommodating the Acute Dialysis Team within the floor.

The post holder will be required to have a genuine interest in the speciality and will be able to develop leadership, organizational and communication skills as well as confidence with IT.

The ability to provide a high standard of nursing care and be motivational and euthusiastic in supporting the team is essential.

The post holder will be flexible to meet the demands of the service, including change of shift pattern/duration at short notice.
