We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for two Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist (1.8WTE) to join the Aberdeen City Community Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialist Team, based at Roxburghe House. (Post 1 – 36 hours over 5 days, post 2 - 30.5 hours over 4 days)

The successful candidates will work within Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership, collaborating closely with and supported by the existing team of Clinical Nurse Specialists.

This role requires nurses with specialist knowledge and experience in cancer and palliative care, along with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within the community.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in cancer and palliative care (hospital and/or community settings)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong therapeutic relationships
  • Proven clinical, organisational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Access to a car is essential
