An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Aberdeen Dental Hospital and Institute of Dentistry to the post of Band 4 Dental Nurse.

You will possess a registerable qualification - NEBDN National certificate, SVQ & PDA Dental Nursing Level 3 or equivalent. Have relevant clinical experience Dental Nursing with a comprehensive knowledge of various treatments and techniques including Orthodontics & Implants and have full registration with the GDC including up to date CPD.

The post holder will provide high-quality chairside support to clinicians across a range of dental specialties, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care within a busy hospital setting. The post holder will also contribute to clinical support of trainee dental nurses.

This a part time post, 22.5 hours per week on days – Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays but may be subject to change. Working times are 8.30am - 4.30pm.

Excellent interpersonal, organisational & IT skills are essential for this role along with a forward thinking outlook and the ability to act quickly to meet the dental patient’s needs.
