Specialist Practitioner District Nurse

Band 6 - 37 Hours per week - Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated Specialist Practitioner District /Senior Community Nurse to work within the Peterhead Community Nursing Team. The Peterhead Community Nursing Team is committed to delivering high quality nursing care to the local communities as part of the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership.

The successful applicant will have a Specialist Practitioner District Nursing qualification or Integrated Community Nursing Diploma and ideally have the V300 Nurse Qualification or willing to work towards this.

The successful candidate will be accountable for planning, coordinating and delivering safe and effective person-centred care.

The post holder must be able to evidence excellent clinical leadership and change management skills. It is essential for the post holder to demonstrate high quality communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to inspire, empower and motivate their team.
