This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HCSW to become part of a busy team delivering a CTAC service for the patients of the Peterhead Locality. Within this department we also have an Out-Patients department and a Minor Injuries Service. This post would be predominantly within the treatment room but flexibility is essential as at times successful applicant may be asked to cover in other areas of the department.
Candidates must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and willing to undergo further training.
Applicants would preferably have a broad range of clinical skills i.e. venepuncture, wound management, ECG’s, INR - but training could be given for the right candidate.
The post holder must have the ability to work under pressure to deliver safe and effective care.
Effective team player with excellent communication skills and IT skills are essential.
This post is for 22 hours per week (scope to increase dependent on needs of service).
