A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2, and achieved or working towards NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) At least two years' experience working in a social care environment - preferably with vulnerable people over 65 Good demonstrable knowledge and experience of dementia Excellent communication skills and a real ability to show empathy to people under your care Night Senior Care Assistant to work from 8pm to 8am to include alternative weekends A day in the life of a Senior Care Assistant Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence Review -You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.

What is required from you?

A day in the life of a Senior Care Assistant
- Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence
- Review -You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.
- Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe andsupportive and compliant way
- Social Activity - You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
- Leadership - you may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available.
