As one of the three largest NHS hospital groups in the East of England, we offer the chance to work with a diverse range of patients in a supportive and dynamic environment.

We have strong partnerships with the University of Hertfordshire and the University of Cambridge and are proud to be a founding member of the Eastern Academic Health Science Network, providing excellent opportunities for professional development and learning.

Our purpose-built Children's Emergency Department features:

  • 2 paediatric resuscitation bays
  • 6 major treatment spaces
  • A 10-bed Children's Assessment and Decision Unit

In addition, our current 20-bed Children's Acute Ward will soon relocate to a brand-new two-storey facility, incorporating a dedicated Day Services Unit and expanded community children's services.

We are offering a 12-month rotational programme across both acute and community paediatric services, commencing in October 2026. This exciting opportunity will provide valuable experience across a range of paediatric settings, helping you build a strong foundation for your nursing career.

To be considered, applicants will be required to complete a full application, including a personal statement, and participate in a formal interview and assessment process.
