Multi-Agency Safeguarding Nurses play a pivotal role in protecting children, young people and families. Working alongside social care, police and education, you will contribute to safeguarding discussions and decision-making by identifying, collating, interpreting and appropriately sharing relevant health information to support the assessment of notifications and referrals—helping to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and their families.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work within a multi-agency integrated team supporting Shropshire Local Authority (Compass) and Telford & Wrekin Local Authority (Family Connect) gathering, collating and appropriately sharing health information to assist the assessment of notifications and referrals, regarding children aged 0-18, that are received by Compass and Family Connect to ensure best outcomes for children and their families
