Pharmacy Support Worker (Modern Apprenticeship)

NHS GG&C Pharmacy Team are recruiting Pharmacy Support Workers (Modern Apprenticeship). This is a fantastic opportunity to ‘earn while you learn’ and become a highly trained Pharmacy Support Worker.
Successful candidates will undertake a comprehensive one year training programme that includes completing an SCQF level 6 qualification in Pharmacy Services.
You will study for your qualification and have on the job training in the workplace with an assigned educational mentor who will support your learning and development throughout the training period. You may need to study in your own time so you will need to be organised and self-motivated with a desire to succeed. You will work alongside a dedicated team of Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Support Workers and Pharmacists to gain experience in all aspects of the role.

Modern Apprentice Salary: Starting salary: £25,694 per annum
Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be supported into permanent employment in a Band 2 post.
If you are successfully short-listed, you will be invited to attend an assessment centre and a panel interview, if successful at assessment centre.
There will be an information session on Tuesday 27th January 2026 at 2pm to provide more information about the role and to give you an opportunity to ask any questions. To register for this session click:
