ULTH maternity services is excited to invite you to become part of our team as a Triage / Antenatal assessment unit midwife.

As one of our Triage Midwives you'll provide high quality care, in alignment with the BSOTS framework, to women and birthing people. To thrive in this role you'll need to have excellent communication skills, a robust knowledge of midwifery practice and enjoy working in a busy environment.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve delivering high quality care for pregnancies in the maternity triage/ antenatal assessment unit, working collaboratively with the obstetric and wider multidisciplinary team.

Following the BSOTS Framework the triage midwife will

• Undertake clinical assessment of maternal and fetal wellbeing over the telephone and in person.
• Provide immediate clinical care to women and birthing people.
• Plan, implement and evaluate immediate and ongoing care plans to promote the wellbeing of women, birthing people and babies.
• Provide advice to women, birthing people and families as required
