We have an opportunity to join the OMFS and Orthodontic department as a medical secretary supporting the consultants and their teams.

We are looking for a highly organised individual, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative to meet the needs  of a very busy department.  The ideal candidate will be able to remain calm under pressure, along with being flexible and adaptable to support the team and patients.

Main duties of the job

To provide a full and comprehensive medical secretarial service to support the consultants, clinicians and reception team in the OMFS and Orthodontics Department. To provide a first point of contact for patients and staff, other departments within the hospital and dentists/outside agencies.
