An exciting opportunity has been created as part of a review of the department’s structure and expanding medical student and resident doctor numbers. The Management Assistants will provide personal assistant support to senior members of the department and support the administration of courses, events and other activity. Each Management Assistant will have their own specific work portfolios to lead on, but with the understand of cross cover during periods of absence.
Based at UHI House on the Raigmore Campus, the Medical Education department supports school pupil activities for those interested in a career in medicine, the delivery of undergraduate medical student teaching and postgraduate training for resident doctors, working closely with the Scottish Medical Schools and NHS Education for Scotland.
Applicants must be able to use their initiative in a shared office environment. Working knowledge of MS365 packages is required. You will have excellent planning and organisational skills, and be reliable, flexible and able to work as a team member.
