Job summary

Join our Breast Screening Team at the Jarvis Centre, Guildford, as a Mammographer. Youll provide high-quality breast imaging across mobile units and the centre, supporting early detection of breast cancer. Work within a multi-disciplinary team of radiologists, advanced practitioners, and clinical staff, following NHSBSP triple assessment principles. This role offers professional development opportunities, including mentoring assistant practitioners and deputising for the Superintendent Radiographer. Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, MondayFriday.

Join Our Team as a Mammographer

Location: Jarvis Centre, Guildford | Salary: Competitive | Hours: 37.5 per week

Are you an experienced Breast Screening Radiographer ready to make a real difference in your community? Were looking for a skilled Mammographer to join our friendly and supportive Breast Screening Team at the Jarvis Centre in Guildford, Surrey.

At InHealth, we screen the women of Surrey and North East Hampshire using a fleet of 5 mobile vans and our state-of-the-art Jarvis Centre. Youll be part of Assessment Clinics alongside a dedicated multi-disciplinary team including Consultant Radiologists, Associate Breast Clinicians, Advanced Practitioners, Assistant Practitioners, and clinical and admin staffall following NHSBSP triple assessment principles.

What Youll Do

  • Take high-quality mammograms and contribute to the units Quality Assurance Programme
  • Participate in Assessment Clinics, including stereotactic biopsies
  • Mentor and support Assistant Practitioners in their development
  • Work across mobile screening sites and ensure supplies and equipment are ready
  • Stay up to date with breast imaging trends and techniques
  • Deliver care with empathy, helping nervous or anxious clients feel at ease
  • Maintain all clinical and quality assurance records, including CPD portfolio

Who Were Looking For

  • BSc in Radiography and PG Cert in Mammography
  • HCPC registration
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen, explain, and reassure clients
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and organisational boundaries
  • Commitment to professional growth, technical excellence, and best practice
