The shift pattern for this post is 9am-5pm.
This is a fixed-term post for 10-12 months.
Applications are invited for this fixed term full time IPCU consultant post at Gartnavel Royal Hospital, The IPCU is a well-established 12 bedded ward with a cohesive team and leadership structure. The post holder will provide clinical leadership with RMO responsibility for all 12 patients. The in patient beds are based at Gartnavel Royal Hospital in the West end of Glasgow. The hospital has excellent public transport links. Applicants must be on the Specialist register or within 6 months of completing CCT at time of interview.

Essential
- Applicants trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview (for medical consultants)
- At least four years full-time postgraduate training (for Specialty Doctor posts)
- Two of these years must have been in a relevant acute specialty, or you will be required to evidence equivalent experience and competences (for Specialty Doctor posts)
Qualifications

- Valid GMC / GDC Registration with a Licence to Practice – this is known as Full Registration
- Full Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) (for medical consultant posts)
- A licence to practise (for medical consultant posts)
- Eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register (for medical consultant posts)
