Applications are invited for the post of Locum Consultant in Paediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus at Addenbrooke's Hospital part of Cambridge University Hospital NHS Trust.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, high-calibre, and forward-thinking Consultant Paediatric Ophthalmologist to join our Ophthalmology team at Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH).
This position is designed for a clinician with advanced sub-specialty fellowship training in paediatric ophthalmology, complex strabismus management (adult and paediatric), and the screening and management of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP). The successful candidate will work alongside our existing team of consultant ophthalmologists, orthoptists, and specialized paediatric nurses to deliver cutting-edge tertiary care to patients across Cambridgeshire and the wider East of England region.
You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.
