Main duties of the job
We are looking to appoint a dynamic Locum Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician to cover a maternity leave and complement our existing team. This post would suit a generalist with strong obstetric skills and consolidated gynaecology skills.
This post includes gynaecology clinic, gynaecology operating, outpatient hysteroscopy, and acute gynaecology cover. The post holder will also contribute to the well-established and busy Obstetric service with day-time labour ward cover, caesarean section lists and a general antenatal clinic. They will participate in the out of hours on call cover for both obstetrics and gynaecology. We are currently providing 98 hours of onsite delivery suite cover per week.
The role is 5.75 PAs.
