This is a new Consultant post to the Neuro-ophthalmology department.
The post is comprised of 7.75 programmed activities (PAs), of which 4.5 provide direct clinical care (DCC) and 3 are for supporting professional activities (SPAs). There is also time dedicated to attend the weekly service radiology MDT meeting.
The post is based at the Moorfields City Road site. The proposed job plan is detailed below, however may be subject to change in response to the demand of the service over time.
It is expected the post-holder be flexible to discuss patients remotely throughout the week.
The post is available now and for a fixed term period of 12 months.
Applicants are required to hold FRCOphth, or equivalent, and be registered with the General Medical Council. Fellowship training in Neuro-ophthalmology is essential and fellowship training in Strabismus would be advantageous.
