Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust has a vacant position for a Trust Locally Employed Specialty Registrar in our Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) Department.
This post will primarily be based at SDEC in Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
Main duties of the job
- Appropriate clinical responsibility for the care of patients delegated by the consultant to their charge.
- Co-responsibility for the proper functioning of the department, including supervision of more junior medical staff.
- Co-ordinating appropriate medical, surgical and allied disciplines concerned with patient care and communicating appropriately with general practitioners and community agencies.

- 12 months experience in O&G as a Specialty Registrar
- Relevant UK based NHS Experience

- Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice in the UK
- MBBS or equivalent

- Ability to travel between multiple hospital sites with own transport

- Competencies as per RCOG requirements for completion of ST3
- Ability to make good clinical notes

- Ability to manage Delivery Suite at Registrar level

- Evidence of participation in audit in the past 12 months
