Due to the split locations of this post - UK driving licence is desirable
Main duties of the job
On Call at QVH comprises of the following shift patterns, supported by a Registrar and Consultant. You can expect one type of on call shift on average once every four weeks, as part of a rolling rota.
All day regional teaching at QVH every other month Half day audit / governance meetings at EDGH every other month Encouraged to attend study days specific to one’s area of interest
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
There will be opportunities to attend the Orthognathic MDT clinics at EDGH with Orthodontists and Surgeons. Consultant and Specialty Doctor clinics will provide exposure to a range of commonly encountered Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery conditions. These diagnostic and management skills will stand the doctor in good stead for their future career in primary or secondary care.
