Are you an experienced Physiotherapist with a background in neurorehabilitation, TBI and respiratory care, looking to lead and develop a specialist therapy team?
Active Neuro, the specialist neurorehabilitation division of Active Care Group, is seeking a Lead Physiotherapist to join our team at Nottingham Brain Injury and Neurological Care Centre.

Job responsibilities
As Lead Physiotherapist, you will:
- Lead the assessment, planning and delivery of specialist physiotherapy interventions for patients with complex neurological conditions, including TBI, stroke, spinal cord injury and progressive neurological disorders.
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in complex rehabilitation, including respiratory management and tracheostomy care.
- Supervise, mentor and develop junior physiotherapy staff, promoting clinical excellence and continuous professional development.
- Work collaboratively within the MDT to deliver integrated, patient-centred rehabilitation.
- Drive service development, implementing clinical protocols, guidelines and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Champion the use of advanced rehabilitation technology, including robotics and smart therapy equipment, to support functional recovery.
- Build strong relationships with patients, families and carers, ensuring rehabilitation is personalised, goal-driven and consistent throughout the patient journey.
