- Hold a Mental Health Nursing qualification
- Have post-qualification experience in mental health

Main duties of the job
- Provide specialist mental health nursing interventions to adults with severe and enduring mental health needs within a community setting.
- Manage a defined caseload of service users, delivering recovery-focused, person-centred care.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and develop and review care plans under the Care Programme Approach (CPA).
- Contribute to and support the team’s duty system, responding to urgent or unplanned needs.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, maintaining strong communication with colleagues, service users, carers, and partner agencies.
- Act as a mentor and role model to junior staff and students, offering supervision and guidance.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with trust policies and professional standards.
- Support service users in their recovery journey, promoting independence, social inclusion, and overall well-being.
- Apply up-to-date knowledge of relevant NMC standards and ensure high standards of professional practice.
- Travel independently across a large geographical area to meet the needs of the service.
