This is a great opportunity for an experienced paediatric audiologist to join our friendly team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in King’s Lynn and enjoy the variety of work that comes from being part of our complex Audiology service. The wider NNUH & QEH team is made up of senior assistant audiologists, associate audiologists, audiologists, Clinical Scientists, hearing therapists and a newborn hearing screening team.
The department offers a complex adult rehabilitative service, tinnitus and hearing therapy services and paediatric assessment and (re)hab service (0-18 years). Domiciliary work is also undertaken.
Our department places an emphasis on quality and raising standards in audiology.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will be a paediatric audiologist who is motivated to deliver a high-quality audiology service to our patients.
The main responsibilities include:
- Autonomous practice within paediatric audiology clinics
- Line manage staff Band 6 and below
- Clinical lead at the QEH audiology site
- Day to day management of the QEH audiology site under NNUH leadership
There is a strong culture of auditing our work to ensure best practice, and we would like the successful candidate to be actively involved in this work.

- BAA approved MSc in Audiology or equivalent
- STP or BAA approved HTS, CAC or equivalent (in paediatric audiology)
- Registered or to be working towards registration on HCPC register as a clinical scientist or RCCP register
