As we seek to improve clinical quality through digital solutions, we’ll look to your expertise in designing and developing information solutions, with a particular focus on expansion of our Trust data warehouse (Epic Caboodle) . You will also lead on the specification and development of dataflows, models, automation, and reports, ensuring we deliver a first-class service to the Trust.

Skills required
Along with technical and analytical skills, extensive experience of developing and pipelining within Epic Caboodle is essential.
The assessment process for this role includes Sphinx testing which an aptitude assessment designed to evaluate critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
Main duties of the job
This is a senior developer role, leading in the development, maintenance, and continued improvement of the Trust data management platforms and services used by Information Management and the wider organisation. You will lead on the specification and development of datasets, data flows, models, processes, and dashboards across multiple areas and clinical services to enable Information Management to deliver a first class, comprehensive and proactive service to the Trust.
You will use you expertise to deliver analytics, reporting and insights which underpin effective decision making. To be the Trust specialist on designing and developing information solutions using the latest technologies available including, data warehousing, data lakes, web-based visualisation tools, R and Python, cloud-based technologies, and statistical analysis.
The post holder will act as a project manager for developments, ensuring effective communication, customer engagement, and delivering against pre-determined outcomes. The ability to motivate others and drive ongoing delivery against objectives and other competing priorities will be essential, as well as the ability to deal at pace with changing requirements or circumstances and provide alternate recommendations to mitigate delivery or service improvement challenges.
