We have a proven model of clincal leadership in our senior nursing posts which our senior nurse practitioners bring. They are embedded in the clincal teams both holding their own limited caseload alongside providing clincal opinion and expertise to operational the local and national strategies of the services they are in.
This is an excellent opportunity for the candidate with the right qualities to be involved in the Aberdeen City Integrated drug and alcohol service at time where we have evolving treatment pathways and supports for our population. AS such we have developed this new post to work in collaboration with our existing SNP in the service to continue develop the service alongside the Scottish governments MAT standard agenda.
The post hold must have relevant and recent experience in working in addiction service, hold a Registered Mental health Nurse registration Have a Independent prescriber registration and be educated or demonstrate ability to work at a level commensurate with a masters level education or above.
You will be expected to contribute to the development of innovative, high quality person centred services and be accountable to the Senior Management Team in relation to service performance and delivery.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
