Job summary
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of a high-quality catering service, helping to provide nutritious meals and excellent hospitality for residents, visitors and colleagues. Working as part of a friendly kitchen team, you will assist with food preparation, serving meals and refreshments, maintaining clean and hygienic kitchen and dining areas, and ensuring food safety standards are consistently met. You will contribute to creating a welcoming dining experience that supports the health, wellbeing and independence of older people and other individuals who use our care homes and community services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service in a caring environment.
Main duties of the job
Join our Hospitality team and help make every mealtime a positive experience for the people we support. As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play an important role in preparing ingredients, serving food and drinks, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene are maintained. Were looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly catering team, supporting the delivery of high-quality meals and hospitality services.
This is a hands-on role where youll be part of a busy kitchen, helping with food preparation, keeping everything clean and safe, and supporting a great dining experience for our residents and community members.
What youll be doing
