Main duties of the job
As a Kitchen Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be integral to supporting the catering function in our care home environment. Our ideal candidate must:
- Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate anddemonstrateshigh standardsof personal hygiene.
- Have theknowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
- Be an efficient worker, capable ofa high levelof sustained physical effort and able torespond to a demandingworkload.
- Demonstrate initiative and display a positive and flexible aptitude to team working.
- Exhibit a caring andunderstanding attitude towards the residents.
