We have two part-time opportunities available: one for 16 hours per week and another for 24 hours per week, including alternative weekends. Previous experience in a kitchen setting is essential. A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK is required. We'd like you to have some prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH. You will be a caring, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to show empathy to the needs of others.

What is required from you?

A day in the life of a Kitchen Assistant
- Support the chef to create healthy/balanced meals and snacks, and ensuring a goodunderstanding of various dietary requirements and allergens
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen area, with good levels of hygiene particularly in line with COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols.
- Work as a team player, but have the ability to lone work when needed, effectively managing your time.
- Offersupport, communication and engagement to the residents.
About You
You don't have to have worked in care before, a previous role in a different catering environment is great for someone willing to learn. We'd like you to have some prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH. You will be a caring, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to show empathy to the needs of others.
