These will include creating menus, plating up, arranging trollies, and ensuring each of our residents feel directly supported and looked after with the highest quality of support and care. Whilst you will be involved in all the practical duties you would expect in a busy care home kitchen it is vitally important to continuously ensure that you are mindful and conscious to individual religious and cultural backgrounds and how this might impact on meal choices, alongside making sure that all our residents feel they have a personalised service. Main duties of the job

You will work closely with the wider catering team to ensure the smooth operation of kitchen processes. Your responsibilities will include menu creation, plating, and trolley arrangements, ensuring a direct positive impact on residents' lives.   • Kitchen and food preparation experience required.

Essential

  • Experience of working within a similar environment is required. Candidates must have kitchen and food preparation experience and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. A caring nature and adaptability to changes at short notice are essential attributes.
