An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Supply chain Inventory Operative within the Procurement service. Main duties of the job

We are seeking to appoint a Supply Chain Inventory Operative within the Procurement Shared service. The appointment to this post will be based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The role will be responsible for the stock control of multi locations within Queen Elizabeth, varying from Wards to Theatres using a Automated Omnicell Ordering System.

The successful candidate must be able to prioritise competing demands for the service, be able to learn quickly to understand the complexity of the service.

Experience in Supply Chain is required. Omnicell experience is preferred.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

A key operational role that will be the face of the service, providing a world class inventory stock management system. This role will be part of a small onsite team restocking and ordering in clinical areas from theaters to wards and clinics in a highly effective supply chain service

Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
