Job summary

Spire Leicester Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our inpatient team on a bank basis. This is a flexible, ad-hoc role supporting the inpatient physiotherapy service, working with post-operative patients to help prepare them for discharge home.

Main duties of the job

Deliver high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and advice to inpatient and outpatient patients Manage your own clinical caseload as an autonomous practitioner Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and rehabilitation Provide safe and effective post-operative physiotherapy care Support weekend inpatient services as required

This is a flexible, ad-hoc role supporting the inpatient physiotherapy service, working with post-operative patients to help prepare them for discharge home. The Role

Deliver high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and advice to inpatient and outpatient patients

Manage your own clinical caseload as an autonomous practitioner

Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and rehabilitation

Provide safe and effective post-operative physiotherapy care

Support weekend inpatient services as required

Degree qualified Physiotherapist (BSc Hons or equivalent)

Current HCPC registration with no restrictions

Previous post-graduate physiotherapy experience within an NHS or private hospital setting

Experience assessing, diagnosing and treating a varied caseload

Strong communication and organisational skills

Flexible approach to working patterns and clinical areas

Availability to work weekends and weekday shifts between 8am-7pm
