Job summary

Were looking for an Independent End Point Assessor (IEPA) to join our End Point Assessment team, supporting the Healthcare standards.

This role could be suitable if you're a Registered Nurse, Midwife, or Allied Health Professionals (HCPC registered), particularly with experience supervising or managing Healthcare Support Workers.

Main duties of the job

In this role, youll play a key part in shaping the future workforce by assessing apprentices at the final stage of their journey. Youll use your professional expertise to evaluate performance, ensure high standards, and help learners achieve their full potential.

Job responsibilities

How youll make an impact:

  • Delivering EPA in line with the Health Care Support Worker L2, Senior Healthcare Support Worker L3 and Assistant Practitioner L5 standards
  • Utilising NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices
  • Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance and consistency
  • Communicating with apprentices, ITPs and employers on EPA and grading

Person specification

Experience

Essential

  • At least 3 years occupational competency within a Healthcare role
  • Experience of producing clear and accurate reports
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and are able to work independently

Qualifications

Essential

  • A recognised Assessor qualification (A1, CAVA, or equivalent)
