At North West Ambulance Service (NWAS), our purpose is to help people when they need us most by delivering the right care, at the right time, in the right place, every time. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Improvement Support Officer to help turn this purpose into meaningful improvement across the Trust.
This is an opportunity to develop your improvement expertise while supporting the planning, delivery and evaluation of programmes, events and initiatives across the North West.
Working closely with Improvement Managers, operational and corporate teams, and leaders across NWAS, you will be a key coordination point for improvement activity. You will engage with colleagues across NWAS, support coaching and teaching, coordinate programme documentation and actions, monitor progress, and create clear reports, briefings and communications for a range of audiences.
Main duties of the job
You will join a supportive Improvement Team committed to learning, collaboration and professional development, with opportunities to build your skills and contribute to meaningful change across NWAS.
You will be organised, adaptable and proactive, with experience of coordinating activities, producing clear written and visual information, and building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be confident balancing competing priorities, presenting information clearly and creatively, and working collaboratively to support improvement across the Trust.
The role requires regular travel to NWAS locations across the North West.
