The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders to deliver meaningful change, improve patient access, and contribute to the achievement of national priorities across NHS Lanarkshire.

The working pattern for this role is: Monday to Friday

In this key role, you will:

  • To establish and implement the Project through scoping of project, development of business case and development and execution of project plan that is acceptable to the project stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain high quality Project Management & planning procedures to ensure all Projects under the remit of the department are effectively managed and controlled, to deliver the expected benefits to patients and staff. Provide advice, support and education in this area to the Projects Team and other improvement functions.
  • Build multi-disciplinary Teams with the appropriate mix of skills and knowledge for each Project (clinical, OD & Training, business analysis, technical etc) and establish strong relationships within teams in order to secure commitment to the organisational goals of each Project.
  • Establish & maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, to ensure full communication and co-operation with each Project to provide the highest level of Project management support and deliver expected outcomes.

What You'll Bring:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Management or Project Management qualification e.g. PRINCE 2
  • Proven track record of successfully managing high profile diverse projects
  • A driving licence is required; this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
