Main duties of the job
You will develop and maintain regular contact with line managers to build strong and influential working relationships, sufficient to support and advise on all aspects of Human Resources (HR) policies and procedures. This role will be key to supporting, coaching and training managers to undertake effective people management activities. These may involve sickness absence management, performance, disciplinary, grievance and harassment/bullying issues. The post holder will have opportunity to be involved in many other related aspects such as supporting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion objectives, job matching as well as supporting employee wellbeing objectives . There will also be the opportunity to be involved in the transformation work such as attending consultation meetings and advising on procedure.
