Responsibilities include carrying out cleaning duties as per worksheet instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and materials, and ensuring that areas are well presented and maintained. Respect for residents is crucial; you'll treat them with dignity and ensure their personal space and belongings are respected. Ideal candidates possess knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. Experience in public setting laundry cleaning is required, along with compassion and commitment to delivering quality housekeeping services. Flexibility and adaptability to cover various responsibilities at short notice are also necessary. The role requires undergoing a DBS Disclosure check, paid by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
