Main duties of the job
As a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare, your role is to work as part of a team ensuring all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to our standard procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are upheld. Your responsibilities will include carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring all areas are well presented. You will also ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and respect in their personal spaces. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of Health and Safety, including Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. Experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting is essential, along with the ability to demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping services. The role requires adaptation and flexibility to cover various responsibilities at short notice.

ABOUT THE ROLE
