Main duties of the job
As a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be part of a dedicated team ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of Aldridge Care Home. Your role involves working collaboratively to uphold high standards of cleanliness and laundry, following standard operating procedures to meet hotel service standards. Responsibilities include understanding different cleaning requirements, respecting residents' personal space and belongings, and treating everyone with dignity. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. A DBS check is required, funded by Avery Healthcare, as well as proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
- Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
- Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
