Main duties of the job
The role of Domestic Care Assistant involves working 12 hours per week from 10am to 4pm on a Saturday and a Sunday. You'll support residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. Responsibilities include communal cleaning, ensuring communal areas are kept clean and safe, and performing domestic tasks such as dusting, polishing, and vacuuming residents bedrooms. Collaboration with the home management team to meet hygiene and cleanliness standards is crucial. Providing companionship through support, communication, and engagement with residents is also a key part of the role. Additionally, you'll assist new or existing colleagues through shadowing and teamwork, supporting the smooth running of the home when required. Bosworth Care Home provides full training for this position.

The Role Domestic Care Assistant - working from 12 hours per week from 10am to 4pm on a Saturday and a Sunday on a weekly basis
As a Domestic Care Assistant, youll play a vital role in supporting residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:
Communal cleaning ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
Domestic tasks - dust, polish and vacuum residents bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
Collaboration - work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Companionship - Provide support, communication and engagement to residents.
Team support - helping new or existing colleagues through shadowing and teamwork, and supporting the smooth running of the home when required
What Were Looking For
A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK, please note: Under new guidance we are unable to accept skilled or student visas
Caring, positive, and reliable individuals
Previous care experience is not essential, as fully funded training is provided
