To assist in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices, supporting the Facilities Unit commitment to the EQMS framework and helping to maintain open, effective communication.

Main duties of the job
- Maintaining a high standard of environmental cleanliness
- Carrying out housekeeping, cleaning and service associated semi skilled duties, e.g. curtain changes, removal and cleaning of fixtures and fittings, linen.
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Patient/Customer service
- The post holder is required to attend all relevant training sessions as required by the housekeeping manager/supervisors to maintain personal competency and comply with Health Board or legislative requirements. In accordance with housekeeping policy and procedures, occupational health and health and safety procedures
